Thai KK selected a JUYOU SF-850 Flexible Dual Shaft Slitter Rewinder to create a faster and more efficient basis for its slitting production.
Before shipment, the Thai KK team visited the JUYOU factory in China to inspect the completed machine.
After the SF-850 arrived at the customer’s factory in Thailand, JUYOU engineers spent six days on site completing the installation, commissioning and trial operation together with the customer’s technical team.
During the final stage of commissioning, the SF-850 was tested at speeds of up to 450 m/min.
The project shows how a slitter rewinder moves from factory acceptance to preparation for real production through close cooperation between the machine manufacturer and the customer’s team.
Factory Acceptance Before Shipment
Before the machine was shipped to Thailand, representatives from Thai KK visited the JUYOU factory to inspect the completed SF-850.
The visit allowed the customer to review the machine’s overall structure, see the completed equipment directly and communicate with the JUYOU team before delivery.
For an industrial equipment project, factory acceptance is an important stage.
It gives both sides an opportunity to confirm the condition of the machine and prepare for the following stages of transportation, installation and commissioning.

Bringing the SF-850 into the Thai KK Factory
After arriving in Thailand, the SF-850 had to be positioned, assembled and connected according to the layout and working conditions of the customer’s factory.
The machine was not simply placed on the production floor and switched on.
Installation involved coordinating the main machine sections, restoring mechanical connections, checking the electrical and pneumatic systems and preparing the equipment for controlled operation.
JUYOU engineers worked closely with the Thai KK technical team throughout this process.

Six Days of Installation and Commissioning
The complete on-site installation and commissioning process took six days.
During this period, the two teams worked through each stage step by step.
The mechanical structure and auxiliary components were assembled and checked first. Electrical and pneumatic connections were then completed so that the control system and individual machine sections could be tested safely.
Once the main systems were ready, the engineers began checking the unwind, slitting, web-guiding and rewinding areas.
Machine settings were adjusted according to the actual conditions observed during commissioning.
The engineers also checked the response of the control system and the coordination between the different sections of the SF-850.

Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems were checked and adjusted before the machine entered trial operation.
This stage involved more than following a standard installation procedure.
Every customer factory has its own layout, utilities and operating environment.
On-site commissioning allows the engineering team to examine these conditions directly and make the necessary adjustments before the machine enters regular production.
Working Side by Side with the Customer Team
The Thai KK technical team participated throughout the installation, adjustment and trial operation.
JUYOU engineers explained the machine systems while both teams checked the equipment together.
This allowed questions to be discussed directly beside the SF-850 rather than through remote communication after the project had been completed.
Working together also helped the customer’s team become more familiar with the machine’s operating process and the areas that require attention during future production.
The installation therefore served two purposes: preparing the machine for operation and building practical understanding between the two technical teams.

This figure records the speed reached during the customer-site trial.
It should not be understood as a claim that every material or every daily production order will always run at the same speed.
Actual production speed depends on factors including material properties, parent-roll condition, slitting requirements and finished-roll specifications.
However, the test provided a direct demonstration of the operating speed achieved by the SF-850 during commissioning at the Thai KK factory.

A Faster Basis for Daily Slitting Production
The new SF-850 gave Thai KK a higher-speed and more efficient basis for future slitting production.
The result was achieved through the combination of machine engineering, correct installation, careful adjustment and cooperation between the two technical teams.
Speed was an important part of the project, but it was not the only consideration.
For a slitter rewinder to support daily production, the machine also requires coordinated web handling, stable tension control and reliable operation across the unwind, slitting and rewinding sections.
The six-day commissioning process was therefore focused on preparing the complete machine system rather than reaching one speed figure as quickly as possible.
From Delivery to Long-Term Support
A machine delivery is not complete when the equipment arrives at the customer’s factory.
The machine must be installed correctly, tested under actual site conditions and handed over with a clear understanding of its operation.
